About STUDIO INIIT AB

STUDIO INIIT AB (hereinafter referred to as “STUDIO INIIT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) offers services for gift wrapping, gift advisory and planning, as well as gift curation services for various types of events and occasions. STUDIO INIIT provides a unique and tailored experience to each customer, and its products and services are carefully designed and customized to meet individual customer needs.

General

These purchase conditions contain information and terms related to your purchase, and they apply to orders placed by the customer (hereinafter referred to as “you”) as a consumer for services through digital channels such as email, Instagram, or the website. Please note that the STUDIO INIIT Shop operates under its own separate terms and conditions.

To make purchases from STUDIO INIIT, you must be at least 18 years old. You must accept the purchase conditions and the pick-up and delivery terms to make a purchase. By accepting the purchase conditions and pick-up and delivery terms, you commit to adhering to the conditions in their entirety and agree that you have read the information on personal data and consented to the use of personal data and cookies in accordance with STUDIO INIIT’s privacy policy. You accept the purchase conditions and pick-up and delivery terms when placing your order.

STUDIO INIIT reserves the right to change the purchase/pick-up and delivery conditions at any time without prior notice. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please feel free to contact us.

Order and Payments

After completing your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. The confirmation will contain all information about products/services, price, billing, and pick-up and delivery details. If there is any error in the order confirmation, please contact us immediately.

Payment can be made via bank transfer to our PlusGiro or other payment methods if offered during the purchase process. STUDIO INIIT reserves the right to not always offer all payment methods for the purchase. Full payment for the order should be made no later than one day before delivery. We may require a 20% down payment of the total order value to begin preparing the product or service. In such cases, payment terms will be specified in the agreement. If the down payment is not made on time, STUDIO INIIT is not obligated to hold the pick-up and delivery date, and you forfeit the right to request any compensation. STUDIO INIIT will notify you of the pick-up and delivery date after the down payment has been made. You still have the right to cancel the order, as outlined in section “Cancellation”. If you do not make the down payment within a specified additional period, we may cancel the purchase and seek damages. The final payment for the order should be made no later than one day before shipping/delivery. STUDIO INIIT reserves the right to not deliver the product until full payment has been confirmed.

For “72 h express service” and “Express wrapping” orders, STUDIO INIIT requires advance payment instead.

Prices

All prices are stated in Swedish Kronor (referred as “SEK” or “kr”) and include 25% VAT. Prices do not include payment and shipping fees, packaging, etc., which are separately indicated.

We reserve the right to change prices due to supplier price changes, typographical errors in the price list, and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information, and we reserve the right to adjust the price accordingly.

Transport, Shipping, Pick-up, and Delivery

Depending on the product or service you purchase, STUDIO INIIT will offer various transport options for pickup and delivery. Transport and shipping fees may vary for each option. Delivery times depend on several factors, and we will provide information about them and delivery times in the order confirmation. If delays in delivery occur (without us notifying you of a longer delivery time), please contact us.

As a customer, you are responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery information. STUDIO INIIT is not responsible for failed pickup and delivery if the phone number or delivery address on the order is entered incorrectly by the customer. If the package is returned to STUDIO INIIT, an expedition fee of SEK 250 will be added. This fee covers administrative work and the return to STUDIO INIIT. Additional charges may apply to arrange a new shipment to you.

Cancellation

You always have the right to cancel before the product is ready for pickup or delivery has occurred. When canceling, STUDIO INIIT may require compensation for costs incurred in connection with the order. STUDIO INIIT’s products and services are designed and customized for you, so if you cancel your order, you must pay compensation for costs incurred up to the cancellation as well as lost profit. The compensation depends on the type of service and product, the ordered amount, and when the order is canceled.

  • If an order is canceled after materials have been ordered from suppliers due to lack of stock, a cancellation fee of 25% of the product/service cost will be applied.
  • For orders canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, the customer will be charged, in addition to the above (when it applies), 20% of the product/service costs and for the full transportation and packaging costs.
  • If an order is canceled after the item arrives to our premises but before the customer is informed that the service is completed, the customer will be responsible for the full transportation and packaging costs, and 75% of the product/service costs. The customer is required to arrange the safe return of the items.
  • If an order is canceled after the customer has been informed that the service is completed, the customer will be charged for the total order value.

If you want to cancel an order, please contact us. You must provide your order number. A cancellation is not valid until you have received confirmation from us.

You always have the right to cancel the purchase in case of delivery delays not caused by you. There may be circumstances that make it impossible for us to fulfill the order, such as if our supplier cannot fulfill its commitment to us. You are responsible for return shipping costs, such as transportation and shipping fees, and packaging. These costs will not be refunded.

The amount will be refunded within a maximum of 30 days.

Right of Withdrawal

According to the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal as a customer. The right of withdrawal does not apply to, among other things:

  • Services that have been fully performed for payment if the consumer has expressly consented to the service beginning and agreed that there is no right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
  • Goods that have been made to the consumer’s specifications or that otherwise have a clear personal character.
  • Cultural events, sporting events, or any other similar leisure activity, catering or any other similar service, accommodation, goods transport, or car rental if the trader is to provide the service on a specific day or during a specific period.

STUDIO INIIT’s wrapping services are tailored and personal. These services are typically delivered for specific events taking place on a specific day or during a specific period. Therefore, STUDIO INIIT’s services do not fall under the right of withdrawal as outlined in the exceptions covered by the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act.

When you complete your order, you have agreed that there is no right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.

Guarantee, Complaints, and Claims

STUDIO INIIT’s products and services do not come with a guarantee. We inspect all products before they are shipped to you. If the product is still damaged or wrongly dispatched upon arrival, we will, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, undertake to rectify the error at no cost. You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective product. The complaint must be sent immediately after the defect is discovered. How to Proceed with a Complaint

Any faults and defects must always be reported to our customer service, including your name, address, email address, order number, and a description of the fault.

If we are unable to rectify the fault or provide a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. We will cover the return shipping costs for approved complaints.

We reserve the right to reject a complaint if it turns out that the product is not defective in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. In cases of complaints, we follow the guidelines of the National Board for Consumer Complaints.

Limitation of Liability

We do not accept responsibility for indirect damages that may occur as a result of the product. We do not accept responsibility for delays/errors due to circumstances beyond the company’s control (Force Majeure). These circumstances may include labor disputes, fire, war, government decisions, reduced or missing deliveries from suppliers, and other factors beyond our control.

Due to the nature of the service and the company’s limited knowledge about the contents, origin, authenticity, condition, and functionality of the items, STUDIO INIIT shall not be held responsible for loss, damage, theft, or other unforeseen events that may occur during the transportation, wrapping, or delivery process. You acknowledge that STUDIO INIIT cannot determine the nature, origin, authenticity, condition, or functionality of the items, and therefore, STUDIO INIIT disclaims any liability for such matters.

You are responsible for ensuring that the items you submit for wrapping are legally transportable, not dangerous or harmful, and do not violate any laws or regulations. You shall be responsible for any legal consequences that may arise from submitting illegal or prohibited items for wrapping. If STUDIO INIIT discovers that the items are counterfeit, illegal, or suspected stolen goods, STUDIO INIIT will immediately report this to relevant authorities, including the police, and fully cooperate with any investigations.

Product Information

We reserve the right to correct any errors on this website and sell out of products. We do not guarantee that the images accurately represent the products’ exact appearance, as there may be slight variations in color due to screen displays, photo quality, and resolution. We always strive to present the products as accurately as possible.

Changes to the General Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Changes to the terms and conditions will be published online on the website. The amended terms and conditions are considered accepted in connection with an order or visit to the website.

Dispute Resolution and Choice of Law

In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved amicably with the company’s customer service and the customer, you, as the customer, can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden – ARN). For residents of EU countries other than Sweden, complaints can be submitted online through the EU Commission’s platform for online dispute resolution, available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

In the event of a dispute, we follow decisions from ARN or equivalent dispute resolution bodies.

Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law and regulations.
