Returns and Refund Policy

General

The following returns and refund policy contains a summary of the information available in our general terms and conditions, as well as the shipping and delivery conditions outlined on the STUDIO INIIT shop website.

Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt)

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the product. After the right of withdrawal period has passed, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

If you want to return your product, you need to contact us, clearly state you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, and we will provide you with further instructions. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation.

After notifying us, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of your withdrawal.

Products Exempt from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made according to the customer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.

This includes products that are customized at the customer’s request, such as items made with specific measurements, materials, colors, monograms, or other individual design choices selected by the customer.

For such products, the purchase is binding once the order has been confirmed, and the right of withdrawal does not apply.

Information regarding whether a product is considered personalized will be provided before purchase.

Condition of Returned Products

You are entitled to examine the product in a manner necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and function.

If the product’s value has decreased due to handling beyond what is necessary for such examination, STUDIO INIIT reserves the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the product’s diminished value from the refund.

If the product has been damaged or altered to such an extent that it is unsellable, the deduction may correspond to the full value of the product.

The product should be returned in its original packaging.

Return Shipping

When exercising your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for return shipping costs.

Upon request, STUDIO INIIT can assist in arranging return shipping within Sweden. This optional return service is subject to a fee of 150 SEK, which will be deducted from the refund.

If the product is defective or incorrect, return shipping costs will be covered by STUDIO INIIT.

Refunds

When you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund:

The product price, and
The original standard delivery cost (the least expensive standard shipping option offered at the time of purchase).

If the product’s value has decreased as described in section “Condition of Returned Products”, STUDIO INIIT reserves the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value from the refund in accordance with applicable law.

Additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us will not be refunded.

Any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the customer. STUDIO INIIT does not collect or reimburse these fees.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we were informed of your decision to withdraw from the purchase. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds for Partial Returns

In the case of a partial withdrawal where only part of an order is returned, the refund will cover the price of the returned product(s). Original delivery costs will only be refunded if the entire order is returned. If only part of the order is returned, delivery costs will not be refunded, as the delivery service has been fully performed.

If free shipping was granted based on the total order value at the time of purchase, and a partial return reduces the remaining order value below the free shipping threshold, STUDIO INIIT reserves the right to deduct the standard shipping fee applicable at the time of purchase from the refund.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it has been shipped.

If the order is cancelled before shipment, the purchase amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

If the order concerns a product that is made according to the customer’s specifications or is clearly personalized, STUDIO INIIT reserves the right to charge compensation corresponding to actual costs incurred up to the time of cancellation.

Uncollected Shipments

If a shipment is returned to STUDIO INIIT due to:

Failure to collect the parcel within the carrier’s holding period, or
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer,

the customer is responsible for the actual return shipping costs charged by the carrier, reasonable administrative expenses directly related to handling the returned shipment, and any customs duties, taxes, or import fees. Depending on delivery method, carrier, and destination country, the return shipping and administrative expenses normally range between 150–300 SEK. Refunds can only be processed once the returned parcel has been received and verified.

If the order is cancelled following a returned shipment, STUDIO INIIT will deduct these costs from the original purchase, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

If the customer requests that the order be shipped again, the reshipment will be treated as a new delivery service initiated at the customer’s request. In addition to the costs described above, new shipping charges and reasonable administrative expenses will apply. Reshipment will be arranged only after the customer has accepted the applicable charges.

If the customer subsequently exercises the right of withdrawal after reshipment, costs related to the failed delivery and the reshipment will not be refunded. Refunds will be made in accordance with section “Right of Withdrawal”.
